Oli, a British/Irish national, has completed her27th year in education, of which23have been in international schools. She is currently the Head of the International School of Hyderabad (ISH), India. Previously, she has served in the role of IB History Teacher, IBDP Coordinator, High School and Secondary School Principal and Assistant Head of School, in schools in China, Japan, Sri Lanka and Peru. She has also taught History in the UK and Spain. She receivedher Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University in the USA. She is passionate about the need for distributed leadership in schools and how this impacts student learning. This was her doctoral thesis. She is currently serving on the Board of the Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE). Oli is married to Mike who is the AD and PE teacher at ISH and has two sons: Patrick, 19 who is studyingat Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and George, 17 who is a junior at ISH.
