Jamie is currently enjoying his 38th year in independent school education and serves now as Dean at Juan Diego Catholic School in Salt Lake City, Utah and as an international consultant to educational organizations and NGOs. Jamie taught science and math for 18 years and has served on the senior leadership teams of international schools on 5 continents including the Lincoln Community school in Ghana, Korea International School, ACS Calvert in La Paz, Bolivia, North Broward Preparatory School in southern Florida, and most recently as interim Head at the International School of Hamburg, Germany.
As a consultant Jamie has worked with nonprofit organizations in the areas of strategic planning, board development, leadership training, marketing, and curriculum development. He presents at international, national, and regional educational conferences on topics such as adaptive change management, data-driven school improvement, teaching for understanding, ELL integration, and creating parent PLCs.
Jamie is passionate about collaborating with other educational leaders to empower and energize the teachers and students we serve. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Denison University and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Educational Sciences. Additionally, he is a PTC graduate, has completed Harvard’s Project Zero: Teaching for Understanding certification program and is certified by the IB in MYP Math and DP Administration levels 1 and 2. In November of 2023 Jamie completed a certification as a blended learning specialist through Arizona State University.
