Jamie is currently the Director of AEA (ACS Calvert) The American School in La Paz, Bolivia and he is enjoying his 32nd year in independent school education. Jamie taught science and math for 18 years and has served on the senior leadership teams of international schools on 4 continents including the Lincoln Community School in Ghana, Korea International School and North Broward Preparatory School in Southern Florida. Jamie has consulted with nonprofit organizations in the areas of Strategic Planning, Board Development, Leadership Training, and Marketing. He has presented at national and regional educational conferences on topics such as Data-driven School Improvement, Teaching for Understanding, ELL Integration, and Navigating the Digital Landscape. Jamie is passionate about collaborating with other educators to empower and energize the teachers and students we serve. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Denison University and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Educational Sciences. Additionally, he is a PTC graduate, has completed Harvard’s Project Zero: Teaching for Understanding certification program and is certified by the IB in MYP Math and DP Administration levels 1 and 2.
