Course: Teaching EAL in the Mainstream (TTC and EAL)
Graham Oakland is currently the English as an Additional Language Program Coordinator and an EAL Co-teacher in the 5th grade at The American International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Prior to living in Vietnam, he worked for over ten years with linguistically diverse students in Rhode Island, Taiwan and Costa Rica. Additionally, he has held the positions of Adjunct Professor in the M. Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language Program at Rhode Island College and in the ESL department at Johnson and Wales University, both located in Providence, Rhode Island. Graham specializes in working collaboratively with teachers to help ensure proper scaffolding and differentiation are utilized to promote optimal learning for each individual student.
