Graham Oakland is currently the Multilingual Learner Program Coordinator at The Met School, a charter school with 6 campuses located in Rhode Island, and is in the process of completing a Doctor of Education at Northeastern University. Prior to living in Rhode Island, he was the Head of the English as an Additional Language Program for 4 years at The American International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Over the past 12 years, he has held adjunct professor positions in the Master of Education department at Rhode Island College and in the undergraduate department of education at Johnson and Wales University, both located in Providence, Rhode Island. In addition to Vietnam and Rhode Island, he worked with culturally and linguistically diverse learners while living in both Taiwan and Costa Rica. Graham specializes in working collaboratively with teachers and administrators to help ensure proper scaffolding and differentiation are utilized to promote optimal learning for each individual student.
