High Tech High (HTH) Graduate School of Education

High Tech High Graduate School of Education will award graduate credits for successful completion of coursework taken through the Principals’ Training Center. Credits can be applied towards earning a Master’s degree through the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership program.

Graduate Program Details
The Master’s in Educational Leadership (EdL) program is designed to help educators strengthen the skills, mindsets and tools to lead for justice and deeper learning. From instructional design to school design, GSE educators bring a critical equity lens to their work to address underserved students. Graduate school candidates examine the connections between equity and design in their practice and develop effective leadership skills to support their colleagues in shaping schools that are both innovative and equitable. Like the 16 High Tech High K-12 schools that serve as a context for adult learning, the GSE is committed to providing learning experiences that are personalized, authentic, and transformative. 

Our courses are designed and taught by faculty from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education, national practitioners, and educators from HTH K-12 schools. Graduates of the 10-month in-person Residency and the 10 and 20-month online program are poised for leadership positions in PreK-12 schools, districts, start-ups educational non-profit organizations, and government agencies.

CANDIDATES SEEKING A MASER’S DEGREE
Catalyze the world’s shift to more innovative, equitable, and extraordinary teaching and learning with the High Tech High Graduate School of Education Master’s in Educational Leadership.  

  • Complete up to 4 courses with PTC

CANIDATES SEEKING GRADUATE CREDITS

PTC participants may earn graduate-level credits for coursework completed through approved PTC courses.  HTH GSE will award 3 graduate credits per approved course and up to 12 graduate credits in total. See approved courses below:

 

*PTC participants can receive credit for a maximum of 12 credits through a combination of teacher or school leader PTC courses.

To earn HTH GSE  graduate credit for PTC courses: 

  • Submit the registration & fee online when registering for PTC courses

  • Submit additional assignment to your PTC Instructor at the conclusion of the PTC course

  • Upon successful completion, candidates will receive instructions for requesting official transcriptsFees

PTC fee is $450 per 3-credit course and is payable to PTC upon registration for available courses.
