Shannon Leoni (she/her) is in her 4th year as a high school counselor at International School Bangkok. Previously she worked at the International School of Brussels, and she is a licensed clinical social worker in the United States. Shannon has led workshops for the International School Counselor Association (ISCA), Southeast Asia School Counselor Network (SEASCN), European Council of International Schools (ECIS), and the Fulbright Commission. The topics of her workshops and training include LGBTQ+ identities, developing a culture of allyship, gender and sexual minority inclusion, and transformational vs. transactional DEIB work.

Shannon is on the DEIB steering committee at ISCA and her current school. She started her CTC journey in 2022 when she had the opportunity to create and co-facilitate the CTC course 'Culturally Responsive Counseling in the International School' with Cheryl-Ann Weekes. Last year, she co-facilitated the Intro to Essential Skills course with Steve Ayling and loved collaborating with counselors from around the world. Shannon is thrilled to be returning this year to Lisbon, and looks forward to an engaging and exciting summer course.
