Treena Casey currently serves as Director of Admissions at Singapore American School. She previously served as Executive Director of Professional Learning also at Singapore American School. This is her 30th year working primarily in international education. Prior to coming to Singapore, she served as Assistant Director for Curriculum and Instruction at Shekou International School, China, where she worked for eight years. Before that, Treena was a teacher and teacher leader at Nagoya International School and International School Bangkok. She started her education career in New Zealand, teaching in both urban and rural schools. Treena is, and has been, actively involved in student learning and assessment, curriculum development, professional development, strategic planning and WASC and IB accreditation processes. Treena holds a Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principals' Training Center. She holds teaching certification and undergraduate credentials from Auckland College of Education, a B.S from Regents College, New York, a Master’s degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo, and a Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California.
