If the teacher wishes to choose his/her own housing, the monthly subsidy is given up to the amount of R$ 3,000 and the choice of housing. This special subsidy expires automatically upon the fifth year of service at the school; 5. Full air passage is provided to the point of origin at the termination of the 2-year (renewable) contract; 6. All visa fees for entry permit and associated costs are covered and reimbursed by the school; 7. A Baggage Allowance limit of US$ 250 per teacher is offered; 8. A Settling-In-Allowance limit of US$ 500 per teacher or a US$ 1,000 per teaching- couple; 9. 100% subsidized school meals; 10. Transportation to and from school is provided free by the school for all foreign hire in the weekdays. For those foreign teachers who have opted for other transportation arrangements a R$ 350 monthly allowance is given for gasoline and other transport costs; 11. Partial subsidy for continued professional development or higher degree courses. This benefit is offered with the provision that the teacher remain in the school for an additional two-year contract. Teachers who wish to return to their country of origin after the completion of their first posting are not allowed any subsidy for further studies while in Brazil although such continued professional development is always encouraged.

Qualifications: The minimum requirement to apply is a M.A/M.S degree in educational administration or education and three previous years teaching experience. Prefer candidate who is bilingual in Portuguese or Spanish and English. The Assistant Principal should possess experience in implementing project-based learning and student-centered, hands on educational practices. We prefer someone with knowledge in Common Core Curriculum and Understanding by Design for unit and lesson planning.
