The College of New Jersey
The College of New Jersey offers a Master of Education in Educational Leadership (SECL). Eleven courses (33 credits) are required. Four of the required courses(12 credits) can be taken through the PTC. The Administrative Practicum can be done on site in your school, and the remaining six courses can be completed during two summers at the college’s global campuses or at the Ewing, NJ campus.
Completion of this M.Ed. can lead to a New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility (CE) for U.S. citizens, the initial administrative (principal) certification. Successful completion of the appropriate PRAXIS examination is required for the CE. Non-U.S. citizens receive a college-issued certificate upon program completion.
