and Co. Please read the article in advance of the class

If you are bringing
your laptop to the course, please have the article so it
is accessible on your laptop (internet will not be
available in the classroom). If you are not bringing
your laptop to PTC, bring a hard copy of the article. We
will discuss it on Day 2 of the course.

Results, The Key to Continuous
School Improvement – 2nd
Ed., by Mike Schmoker, will be used throughout the
course. A full copy will be provided upon your arrival.

School Artifacts:
Bring one copy
of your school’s vision and/or mission statement, school
planning documents, and brochure.

Concerns: Bring a brief
written description of two or three issues at your
school which you
feel negatively
influence student learning.
6.
Bring Examples: Surveys,
interview questions, school climate assessment
instruments which have been used in your school. (one
copy each).

Vignettes: In preparation for
the small group sessions in the afternoon, please bring
a written (one-page) case study or vignette, dealing
with a problem or situation you have confronted during
your professional practice.
